Zambian super talented singer – Mr Crown based from Southern Province released a song titled “Don’t Go Away”. The song has been trending for sometime now and it has scooped over four million views on Youtube. The song is trending in countries like Malawi, Kenya & Uganda. It features Zambia’s top notch singer Yo Maps. Oflate there have been people backlashing Mr Crown for saying he didn’t want to feature Yo Maps on the song. What people dont understand the most is that Mr Crown loves the fact Yo Maps was featured on the song but at the time the song was recorded, he didnt want to feature because he couldnt afford paying Yo Maps for a feature.
Yo Maps currently charges not less than $10,000 for a feature. That is more than 200,000 Zambian Kwacha. Mr Crowns budget was far less at that moment. Mr Stash, a Zambian producer who was recording the song insisted the song should feature Yo Maps. Mr Stash is a close friend to Yo Maps and he helped Mr Crown in getting the Yo Maps feature. After the song was recorded, the video was released and later the song was released. The song received much support especially from TikTokers.
